Nice ! Unfortunately there are very few stores that carry Pentax cameras in my area...i hope ill find one before i buy the K-S2 blindly. Trying to hold some random Canikons in the shops i find that the right grip for you is k200d is perfect, but some of the smallest Canon models, although very light, were very uncomfortable to hold.

The size of the K200d i'm used to seems closer to the K-3 than to the K-S2..

I was surprised to see its overall dimensions are similar to the K-s1 but its 'shoulders' are much higher and 120g heavier. If the s1 goes really low in six months it will be hard to resist despite being out-spec'd in many ways. I'm unofficially on the clock

I am also a K200d user, suspect its nearest match is K50. Guess I will visit that site & play some more! The data below the images is handy esp. weight difference.

The K-s2 is really close in size to the K-r and the K-x, a little heavier then both.

Thanks for the link.
Interesting compare was the K-S2 and my MX-1, both are 122.5 mm wide.
This gives me a much better idea of just how small this camera will be.

Jeebus. And I thought the K-3 borders on 'too small'.
