I think this behavior is absent in the K5 and K3 cameras, and I was only wondering if they've addressed it in their lower tier models.

I was simply asking you why [you think] it is a problem and one they need to address?
You make it sound like it's a fault, which it is not - obviously is was engineered to perform this way.
