This is the Japanese equivalent of the Christmas wreath, put out at new year - new year being the time for gathering and celebrating with family over here. This one is on a coffee shop in a little high street near my dorm. K-S2 with M50/1.4 at f2.

I'm a new member, just getting my feet wet in the forum. Here are some of my favorites with the K-S2 from this past fall:
Thanks for the welcome! I'm located in Bloomington, Indiana. Here are a coupe of my favorite shots from some hiking this fall:

Shawnee Bluffs, Lake Monroe, Pentax DA L 50-200mm ED WR:

Riddle Point, Lake Lemon,Tamron SP 90mm f2.5 macro:

A couple from the backyard, Pentax DA L 50-200mm ED WR and Sears 135 f2.8 macro:

That last one was with the Sears 135 macro. Trying to capture some of the glow in the stems that it has at low apertures in the macro setting, along with bit of sharpness in the berries. With the DA L 50-200mm shot above I was playing with using a tungsten white balance to give a feeling of late evening/night.

It's orchid season inside while it's below zero outside. Shot with the 35 mm 2.8 Limited, 1/125 at F7.1.

Sculpture detail, using a vintage M42 lens - Auto Yashinon DS-M 50mm f/1.4. Liking the clarity very much.
