Just bought a ks2 used for $300. I wasn't expecting much from kit retractable lens but my 13 year old daughter ran outside and took this photo on auto.

The K-S2 is much maligned, but it's weight and ease of use, coupled with an excellent 20mp processor , moveable screen, wifi, etc. makes it current today and it makes my DA glass pop

It's a great camera actually. You did well.

Here's one where I intentionally underexposed and then I pulled up the shadows. I think it did well.
