Erythronium sibiricum has begun to bloom in our back yard. First shots here with K-S2.

If only I could stay there for a few months...

My Rhodo bush is blooming. With D/FA 100mm Macro.

and one with the 40mmXS, hand-held. I love the 40XS...

The color rendition from the K-S2 is spot-on so far for me.

Those whites are totally blown.
I think ISO 3200 at 2 in the afternoon on a clear day wasn't the best choice
'Landscape mode', did you have the camera on scene mode or Auto?

Yes they are kind of bright. The camera body was brand new out of the box(defaults) on Auto. It was its first photo.

can't stop them feasting.

The slugs come in every night and feast on the cat food. Even if I mop the kitchen floor they seem to remember where that good protein is. The stuff to the left is dried tomato seeds because the cat loves tomato. Seems to have splashed some. This is New Orleans and houses aren't that tight. This is average size. I have seen ones big enough to carry this pellet away with them, I won't mention the rats at work, not at home. edit-this one carried that pellet away.
