Thanks Leo. I got some kind of creative idea or enlightment when taking those photos. Also the Limited lenses opened my creativity to full blossom. Thanks also to Pentax for designing them as they are!

Handheld K-S2 with SMC Pentax DA 18-55mm (an older kit lens from another Pentax — not the new, collapsable kit lens). Preference set to Natural. Images are JPGs straight out of camera except for downsizing. You may enlarge an image by clicking on it.

Belvedere Park Vienna, Matisse Albertina Museum Vienna

Photo of the Matisse made with constant sensitivity setting 1000 ASA, no flash, no tripod.
The upload here reduces the resolution from the original 10 MB each to 0.2 MB each, so 50 times less than the original. A pity.
The originals have 5472 × 3648 pixels.
Anyway, photos taken with the normal fairly low ambient lighting of museums come out remarkably well without flash and with nice color rendition.
Lens: Sigma 17-70mm 1:2.8-4 DC

It's difficult and inefficient to view full resolution photos on the web. If you really wanted to share them in full size you could use something like Flickr, Photobucket, or even Dropbox. That being said I prefer to look at a reasonably re-sized version on the web unless I'm pixel peeping and I don't do that much.

Quick question for KS2 shooters who have also used the K5... How do they compare?

Handling is pretty similar with the KS-2 feeling a little smaller to me, but not by much. Buttons have moved a little and there are fewer of them on the KS-2 so I use the Info screen more for settings changes than I did on the K-5. KS-2 is much more responsive in the UI than the K-5 too.
IQ seems pretty similar. I like the files from this sensor, they are easy to work with and have lots of detail to bring out of shadows. It might clip highlights a little easier than the K-5 which might be related to the shallower bit depth or could just be how it meters.

I almost exclusively shoot raw so I haven't paid much attention to the jpeg rendering but that seems fine.

Thank you! And how about focusing (both pdaf and cdaf, if you've tried it)?

I haven't focused extensively with live view so I can only say it seemed good enough. Through the viewfinder it's very good and face recognition seems to work well. Better than K-5 but neither blew my mind either.
