Cross-post of the first few of many pics I took in DC during the cherry blossom peak this past week. Was lucky enough to be out there for work.

---------- Post added 03-29-16 at 02:58 PM ----------

Im relocating to Pittsburgh PA, and decided to do the steel city in all black and white, and will slowly transition to full color as part of a collection. so before i get to that im practicing some B/W edits. and shots with b/w in mind
one of these was taken by my girlfriend, I think the one with the Kx. Makes me kind of miss Ilford paper and developing B/W film.

these were taken In NC, im traveling to Pittsburgh this week, cant wait to see what i come back with. Has anyone ever traveled to Pittsburgh or Around there? I know mt Washington is great for the skyline. Any other cool spots?

Not really new to Pentax. Years ago, one of my first SLRs was the venerable K1000 and then an ME Super. Became "distracted" and flitted between Canon, Nikon, and Fuji. Recently I purchased a K-S2 with the 10-17mm Fisheye along with an HD 40mm Limited and the standby 50mm f/1.8. Feel like I've come home again and am having loads of fun using the K-S2. This is my first pic using the in-camera HDR mode and the 10-17mm. I feel Pentax and I will have a long and beneficial relationship.

This first one only had a little pre-sharpening on the DNG file and a level adjustment. Otherwise just a DNG to JPG conversion

The rest of these had no post-processing at all, not even sharpening.
...and a 100% crop of the above.

and a couple more 100% crops. The KS2 is capable of recording some pretty darn good images with excellent detail isn't it?

Another from today, also as shot (DNG), no post-processing at all.

I discovered the "Replace Color" filter today. I am going to have some fun with this!
The first shot is the original color, each shot after is using the filter to replace red with another.

I REALLY like the blue, but that green sure is nice too!
