I'll admit that I've neglected my K-S2 recently - a lot of moving around and needing to pack light has meant a Micro 4/3 body has gone in my bag on almost every recent trip. However, this week in Japan is 'Golden Week', a 3-day stretch of national holidays which essentially means a 5-day weekend for most of the country. Thus, I decided to make the effort and get out to some good places with my DSLR around my neck.
Yesterday I visited the Wedded Rocks (夫婦岩 'Meotoiwa') near Ise, in Mie Prefecture. What started off as a lovely day soon turned to some truly terrible light, and in the end I was definitely grateful for the larger sensor and its dynamic range. Lens was Sigma 17-50mm f2.8, 50mm f5.6 ISO100.
