Just got my K-S2 and took it out to take some pictures. I am amazed to see the colors almost as bright as on my K10D.

My pictures today are some of fantastic street art. Lens: Pentax SMC DA 18-135 WR

These are unedited, straight from the camera.

We just had a tornado touch down near, it wasn't down too long. We sat there watching grow in length and size, touch down and then shrink and disappear.

I was unhappy with the quality of the DAL 50-200 even as a beginner, so I overcompensated and got a (used) DA* 60-250. Sort of makes the K-S2 look like a toy, but the capabilities of that lens are impressive. Still not sure if that or the DA* 50-135 would have been a better choice, but for this situation the extra reach was far more valuable than the wider aperture.

Also, taking pictures of moving things is hard.
