Floral photography was a top objective when I bought a Lensbaby Sol 45. The two images below were captured today with the Sol 45 and a Raynox M-150 on my Pentax K-S2. (Cross-posted from Single in February)

Light is a big factor of course.

My first outing on a sunny day with the K-s2 resulted in some fine images around the Johnstown, PA area. I used the infrared effect in Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 on the black and white photos. The church and rose building were taken with Pentax DA 18-135MM WR and the train station with a Sigma 10-20MM DC F 4-5.6.

A few shots from recent Hunter Valley Air Show at Cessnock airport, Pokolbin NSW Australia.
First airshow in my region with my K-S2, trying for some in focus shots and with propellor
motion-blur. Some weren't too bad, some of those aircraft are ** ** fast, I didn't try getting
the jets this time.
Pentax K-S2 camera with 35mm 2.4 lens for early ground shots, then the 55-300 PWM lens
for air shots. Using OVF, not live view. Single Frame drive mode. Used Back Button Focusing,
AF-C, SR Was on (should have been off). Action shots were TV priority 400, all were ISO100.
All hand-held.
Was good practice, a lot to go home and think about.

Pitts - Aerobatic Special - cropped, with slight unsharp mask, scaled
Beechcraft 18 - Vintage multi purpose - Radiant tone, cropped and scaled
Mustang Warbird - RAAF markings - Radiant tone, cropped and scaled
YAK-3 "SteadFast" Warbird - World Speed Record Holder Radiant tone, cropped and scaled
YAK52 - Yakovlev trainer - Radiant tone, cropped and scaled
