K30/50 upgraders...is the K-S2 that much sharper?

If you upgraded or had a chance to compare the K-S2 to the K30/50, is the image that much sharper to the eye? Or, is it just a modest boost?

Thanks

It is sharper because of more megapixels and no anti-aliassing filter. Comparison using the DPReview comparison tool:

@D1N0 - Yes, that does look to be noticeably sharper. Thanks!

More Megapixels don't = more sharpness, only more detail.
Only better lenses and better focusing = more sharpness OOC.

Buying a camera body expecting it to produce sharper photos than an older camera body is erroneous thinking.

Sorry but you are wrong. If the lens out resolves a sensor, getting a sensor that resolves more will result in more detail.

If we were still shooting film you would be correct.
