My "used" K-S2 came yesterday

My heart was set on the Forest Green model, but when I found a used (in unused condition) black one, with kit lens, in Amazon's warehouse for $600 I had to jump on it.
Haven't tried the 18-50mm yet.
The 18-135 will be on it most of the time, but for these photos I went with the 40 ltd.
I'm loving this camera!

The 18-50mm is quite disappointing. I've hardly used it....but the body with any other lens is fantastic!

Thanks!
Rarely go to to the city anymore, so for now some practice shots off my deck will have to do.
I'm not tech savvy, and still insist on jpegs only, but here are some of my first shots.

both below are with the DA 18/135 at 135mm, f5.6, 800 ISO.
the first one is without clarity enhancement, second one with.

and some random stuff:
85mm f1,4 Rokinon at f1.7, focus peaking used.

same lens at f4:

my wife's hostas with the 18/135:

Yes it does, and the swivel screen helps save these old arthritic knees.
Got used to FP with the 01 and Q, missed having it on my K-5.
Plus, I like the way LV works on this one much better than the K-5.

Great acquisition. Envious. I must look at the Amazon Warehouse listings...

If the FF has the hinged LCD like the 645Z I just might be a goner.

Why the 18-50mm is disappointing?

Thanks for the review. I've been dying for an articulating screen for so long since I can't get on my knees or squat anymore to get the perspective in shots like I want. Came close to switching brands a couple times now.....

I see this camera also has WiFi capability - does that mean it can sync with my iPad and I could view and control the camera from that? If so that might push me over the edge. To be able to remotely see the camera screen and shoot would be the ultimate for me (at a close proximity to the camera).

Stan,
As far as I know it will connect and work well with the iPhone and iPad.
I'm hoping to get some close-up, remotely controlled bird shots using my android phone.
Sending/saving photos via wifi is not a priority for me, and takes too long on my system.

Caveat, I'm still on the learning curve.

Thanks. I'm also only interested in the remote shooting capabilities - having the camera close to the ground on my tripod and being able to control/shoot the camera from the iPad. Between that feature and the articulated screen the camera would be a great fit for me. I need something like this to get my butt back in gear taking pics.
