K-S2 LCD Screen on/off

Did not read this in the documentation but experimentally verified that the camera magnetically detects that the LCD is closed inwards against the camera. The LCD's back light is then switched off. This saves power. Check for your self with the LCD open and on and hold a little magnet near the camera opposite to the LCD hinge side.

I have found this myself, also the operation of the 4 way switch is also turned off. Thus stopping the change of ISO, which would have been possible, as you would be able to see the new ISO value in the viewfinder.

Correct, this is the behavior, I wish we could be able to manipulate ISO with the LCD closed.

I have made the following suggestion to RICOH so that ISO can be manipulated while in manual. https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/184-pentax-k-s1-k-s2/296255-k-s2-e-button...g-using-m.html
