K-S2 wi-fi problem

Well I received my K-S2 yesterday and so far very pleased with it. Still trying to get it set up the way I want it. Updated the firm wear with no problem. Only difficulty is getting the wi-fi function to work properly. I am paring it with a Samsung S-5 phone. The sync app installed easily, got it paired with the phone. I can change picture settings and take a picture. But I cannot see the live view scene on the camera. I can't see what the camera sees via the phone app. On the phone's screen in the lower left corner is the LV symbol, but it is grayed out and I have tried touching it, then pressing on it for several seconds but the live view scene will not activate on the phone.
One the camera I had LV both on and off, tried different camera settings. Drive mode is single shot.

Any ideals?

I have been frustrated with the wi-fi feature, seems hit or miss getting the LV image on my phone, and forget about uploading pics.
Without it set up in front of me, I think there's a little camera icon at or near the top right, click on that if you can.
As I recall this brought up LV on my phone.

I tried clicking on the little camera icon, nothing happens on my phone. I can still take a photo via the phone & change settings, but that's all. I guess it's better than using the blue tooth remote.
When the photo was taken via the phone app, a little icon picture of the captured photo was displayed on the phone screen.
Also, I just noticed that after after everything was turned off, then when I tried to use the phone app & camera again it did not remember the password, I had to reenter it into the phone to make the connection.
This is all with a Samsung S-5 phone.
