K-S2 wifi problem.

Well, my new KS-2 has arrived, getting used to it, but in general, very very happy with the camera, I was blown away with the low light performance compared with my K-30! So much that I'm debating whether my K-30 was defective or my S2 is doing miracles.

Well that's not the reason why Im writting.

I cannot get the camera to connect with my iPhone, it is a 5G, already installed the Image Sync App, I can connect the phone with the camera's Wifi, but when I open the app it says "not connected to camera"

I already restarted the camera, the phone, removed and reinstaled the app, and nothing. Don't know what else to do.

I have an iPad 2, and it works perfect, it connects, control the camera etc. But I cant get the phone to work, any ideas?

i had to open another app, then click the button twice, find ricoh app and swipe it up to close it... next time i opened it, found the camera....

I'm very disappointed... I just cant get it connected, I already uninstalled, restarted the phone, did a fresh install of the app login out of itunes, etc. And nothing.

"Not connected to camera"

I have iOS 8.4, somebody have the same firmware and have the app working?

I called Ricoh Customer support, and even they were very nice, weren´t able to help me with my issue.

Then I found a post here on the forum and found out that if I disable mobile data, the app works just fine.

hope it helps if you come to an issue like this.

Don't know if this will help (I use an Android phone)

Use wifi or NFC if available - make sure settings are correct... Search Youtube for helpful videos.
*Make sure to disconnect from any other service first.*
