another thread got shut down as 'similar to this thread' but the moderator was incorrect as this has nothing to do with shutter noise.

what the hell is that noise? its insane and annoying..... if i turn off shake reduction, it is still there for at least 2-3 seconds after i push the focus halfway... like little motors spinning or something.

very wierd, I don't like it!

i guess i could just post a video haha :-) to hear it, push autofocus and then listen....

lol i honestly don't know how to describe it sorry... do you have one? if you don't use the viewfinder i doubt you would hear it.
