Can the Pentax K-S2 use a flash trigger?

I am looking to buying the K-S2 but was wondering if it has a port to connect a flash trigger to. I would like to be able to use my pocketwizard with it.

I don't believe it does. The port was removed on both the K-S1 and K-S2.

If I have understood your requirement, then you can buy a small adapter that plugs into the flash holder and provides you with a flash socket.

If your goal is to cable the device into the camera to trigger the camera to fire via wireless - that port was removed as Adam indicated. If that isn't the goal please clarify - there are loads of options to extend the hot shoe both wired and wireless. I'm fairly certain that is not your goal however it isn't 100% clear.

Well, I have succesfully used a YN560-TX (Canon version) in the hotshoe of the K-S2. Works just fine to trigger a bunch of YN-560 III flashes.

Same on the K-S1. I have a TX controller and three 560 III flashes.

I know this is an old thread, but am glad to hear the TX controller works on the K-S2. But I read elsewhere that the Nikon version was a surer bet with Pentax cameras. Is that wrong?
