K-S1 AF vs original K5. Which is better?

I like the idea of the K-S1 due to its small size. I know that hardware wise the AF system seems to be identical to the original K5 classic.

If anyone has both a K5 classic and the K-S1, can you please advise if the auto-focus is in anyway better in the K-S1. I don't really want to spend any money if there is no improvement.

The KS-1 does better in tungsten light. Otherwise, I don't know that there is a big difference.

Focusing wouldn't be different, except manual - you get peaking in Live View.

ks1 is better in low light shots.

I bought a ks-1 for my son for Christmas, and judging by the amount of keepers he got when trying it out in pretty dim tungsten light the other day, I think it beats the k-5 under those conditions (he borrowed my da35 ltd and da70 to get a little more speed than with the kit lens).

He's so far extremely happy with the camera, which replaces my old k10d.
