The latest version (1.1.0) now works with live view on my LG. So finally happy.

You beat me to it. Image Sync now works with my K-S2 and Samsung S5. Before I could change settings & take a picture with the phone, but no live view. Now I have liveview on the phone. Also, with live view you can just touch the screen where you want to focus too. Funny, it is still called version 1.1.0 at the Google Play store, but it is different. I uninstalled the old one and installed the new version.

I have a LG Volt running KitKat and had given up on Image Sync, but a refresh of the app has things working now.
I have not updated firmware on my K-S2, yet.
For the first time I was able to keep LV view-able on the phone, download a pic to my phone, and could have sent a pic directly to Facebook.
I'm guessing the app was finally upgraded because of the K-1.
