K-S2 Wifi light?

Hi all,

Just got my K-S2, and have been playing with all the gadgets and gizmos. One thing that I have noticed is that the WiFi indicator light never turns on. Pressing the button results in the beep and the icon appearing on the screen, but no light around the WiFi button. It does illuminate in selfie mode, but nothing WiFi related. Is this how it is supposed to work, or am I neglecting to do something?

P.S. I'm on firmware 1.11

I believe that it's only supposed to light up in selfie mode. Kind of pointless if you ask me, but there's definitely nothing wrong with your camera

What he said...

It is officially called the Self Portrait Shutter Button, but may also be used to turn the WiFi on/off. The details are spread around the user manual on pages 9, 41, and 90.
