It does. Essentially it combines bracketing with a supposedly advanced processing algorithm.

Yes, the camera takes three shots in a row and combines them together.
For some reason, after using this mode, my dark screens disappear. It's so weird.

Send in your camera as soon as you can. My repair estimate came back -- it needs a new Diaphragm Control Block.

This should be a recall or at least an extended warranty exception.

How did you contact them? I messaged them from the website twice now but no response.

I sent my camera directly to the Pentax service address in Canada and received an estimate from their subcontractor Sun Camera Service.

Do you mean "Restore to default settings"? It's the next to last menu page. Reset>Returns to Default Settings, then either Reset or Cancel.

It actually doesn't do a complete factory reset like your phone would. So I just ended up return the camera and getting the other one.
