I've tried using Astrotracer with my K-3 ii, but I've never succeeded in getting the camera to complete the high sensitivity calibration. I've gone through the 3 axis rotation dance numerous times but the process fails. Would anyone have a suggestion how to fix this?

Well, I'm using the O-GPS1 and sometime is very difficult to get perfect calibration too.
Most of the time I'm turning the camera on the 3 axis once, than I turn myself ( and the camera) 90degrees on the right and than I'll start turning the camera again. Usually I just need to turn on one axe or two to get the OK message. It's a very trial and error method but works for me.
My longest exposure without trails was 3 mins with a 50mm, but your K-3 should be better than my K-S2.
Good Luck!
