Blue tint or just me

Just got a k-s2
The side of this box, seems to have a blue tint, or is it just me?

Seems like you have two different light sources in the image, where the lamp in the image is of a much warmer color.
So auto white balance might have overcompensated the warm color.

Blue window light coming from the left and warmer light from the right. You can adjust your white balance so the blue goes away but then the right side of the box will be yellowish. It is always difficult to get the white balance correct when you have mixed light sources.

Well, it only happens in this lighting situation, so I'm not gonna worry about it.
Thanks all for the input!

If you have photoshop or the equivalent, you can apply a area correction (with feathered edges) to the color and get the two areas to a close match.

Alternately, you can put a daylight lamp in the table lamp to make it bluer and then let your auto white balance move everything to white. Depending on where that left hand light source is coming from, you might have to experiment with different lamps (start with a 5000K and see what happens).

What white balance setting are you using? The cool multi auto white balance or the boring simple auto mode?

What 'Multi Auto White Balance' actually means? - PentaxForums.com

Bear in mind I’ve not done a lot of comparison between them. I only know the theory.

Semi off topic, but I'd say embrace this color contrast for non-test shots by placing a warmer (artificial) light on the subject and having other parts of the image a cooler tone. Sometimes I add this slight shift in wb in post if it suits the scene to guide the eye from cool to warm colors.
