OP- is it possible that we can post our banners here for fun? I can understand if you don't want this to become an eternally long thread that could get a tad argumentative...

I think the winning banner is well done. HOWEVER, it does not meet contest criteria, as the logo is not placed in the right 1/3 of the banner. I think it's important for the contest sponsor to honor the restrictions they placed on the design. This restriction did affect the design of my submitted banner significantly. Just sayin...

I submitted this one.

I like romansolar's proposals. Remembering the old Asahi PEntax is a nice idea. This forum can do that, it is not linked to the actual products. I think that many people who use pentax like this brand because old lenses can still be used with modern DSLRs.

My opinon about the winning banner: The right side is okay, the solgan is very good but I definitely don't like the the wheel on the left side. The banner is not inspiring whereas romansolar's are.
