The DA55-300HD doesn't get a lot of love, but I've enjoyed it thanks to this review. I thought it was one of the most comprehensive, truly in depth reviews, even comparing the more expensive DA60-250. Well written, answered all my questions.

One of the great things about Pentax Forums is there are stacks of fantastic guides, reviews and tutorials, really I'd have to list them all, and the recent flash tutorial is probably one of the best, haven't finished reading that yet, so I'd go for this one Sirui T-025x Travel Tripod Review - Introduction | PentaxForums.com Reviews Very informative on that actual tripod, but also what to look for in a tripod.

I found the explanation of this feature to be extremely helpful, I never knew such an option existed for any cameras, let alone my own!

Oh - that one is my choice too! Loved it! I have been wanting to try this technique out since I read the article, and now I just bought a cable release with a lock option, so... any time now, when I am left alone more than five minutes during daylight with no kids in my hair!
