One of the best tutorials or better say a series of tutorials that I've read on pentaxforums recently is the Astrophotography guide:

e-book give-a-way

I would say that the "Catch-In-Focus" tutorial was most beneficial to me.

I've been away for a while and now I'm rediscovering the forum. I'm actually awed by the breadth and depth of the information available here. So far the Pentax Digital Camera Utility Mini-Guide has been the most useful for me.

I am very new here but so far I have read the following review as I was debating buying this lens. The review is excellent and has convinced me to get the lens!

I don't think I've seen a better thread than this one! There are quite a few great articles suggested by members that I have missed, and now I have a ready reference to the "Best Of PentaxForums".

Of the tutorials that added value to my work, Bdery's well written catch-in-focus guide motivated me the most. I wrestled with it on my manual focus lenses. After a few set-backs I got some impressive captures that I thought were possible only by chance.

His tutorial shows it can be planned. I am going to invest in a good remote release device to deploy catch in focus for other hard to captures. Catch-in-Focus Tutorial - Articles and Tips | PentaxForums.com

I realize this isn't exactly an article - but it should be! Revived girlfriend's k-x with the info here from Gerbermiester (post 11 in the thread) - Cleaning up a scratched viewfinder... Also saved an old istDL that I had gotten free because of the damage. Anyway: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/6-pentax-dslr-discussion/39249-scratched-...der-k100d.html
I keep teling people not to clean the viewfinder with a t-shirt or whatever, but...
(anyway, I do understand if I'm eliminated from the contest for not quite following the rules, but....)
