Shame, Inside Job. 2 mods already entered, even Thread was not opened "public' up until minutes. Finally saw the post form, couldn't sucessfully send for a mere minute, eventually it was back to "closed" having 51 posts in it, including the Early 2 Moderation Posts..
Oh well.

It was a mess. No one is denying that. I have been on the forum long enough to be pretty sure they will do their best to try to make amends. However, mistakes are inevitable and universal. If we are paying someone to do something we have some small reason to be upset if they make a mistake but even then the best is just to try to clean it up and move on. This was a free raffle. All that was needed was registration and one post during June. That is not much of an investment.There will be two more contests probably before the summer is over where things will probably go more smoothly.

Welcome to one of our newest members

The moderating team here are all regular, unpaid members who do what they do to assist in the smooth running of the forum.

Both of the moderators you refer to tried to enter this morning's raffle thread but were too late to do so. The fact that they managed to post entries this time is fortunate, but certainly not engineered.

Any delay on opening was down to me, as I had to deal with a minor family emergency (my mother), so you'll forgive me, I hope. Thanks to my colleagues for opening the thread in my short absence.
