I did it right at the time and it said it was closed, and I kept refreshing it and eventually I saw two entries on it and it said it was closed even though there were only 2 not 50.
then I saw 6 entries not 50 and it was closed, then it said it wasn't closed and then it had 50 entries.

I'm not going to bother entering any more of these.

What a screw up. Remained closed for about 3 minutes or so, only mods could post (not intentional I'm sure) then over 40 seconds for my 'quick' reply. Same last time so I guess hardware/distance issue.

Not doing it again. Too much bloody frustration.

That was rather screwed up. Was on the page and was hitting refresh. All of a sudden 2 reply's but thread was closed. Backed out for less then a minute, went back in and there was 4 pages and thread was closed. Never even got a chance to try.

The thread has never opened to me, not a chance. I've been trying from the first second for first 3 minutes. Nope.

Better get the forum working properly...I was on the 11 pm UTC forum, and was locked out until 11:06 at which all of the entries were taken...

Completely lame if you ask me....it would be one thing fighting to get on, but it was showing nothing until it was locked....

Thread had been closed even three minutes after 11pm UTC - no postings possible. Only two mods have been able to post.
A minute later 60 entries are visible - seems strange to me.

Pentax Forums better answer the problems so many had in the contest, and figure out a way to make this right in the future....

Probably a mistake, my guess is that only mods could enter at the correct time, someone noticed this and fixed it a couple of minutes later.

Yes. It did not work right. But remember this is a mostly volunteer forum and most people who visit each day and post are not supporters. I am sure the mods are more upset than anybody.

I wonder if they put the thread on moderated. So they had to be approved. 2 Mods made it in directly because they were mods. But still they were part of the 50. The other 48 made it in but had to be approved to show up. Hence the delay before the other 48 showed up.

Just a guess.
