thing is can we do 6,000 posts in two days?technically, it's not that difficult - there's usially between about 90 and 180 members online at any given time - and if each of them (us) posted only 10 times, we'd rip through it - but I don't think that there's been any day yet where it's actually been achieved...

I think we should give it a go

If you're in the top 10, the easiest was is to click on the Pentax forums logo and scroll to the bottom of the page

They must be pretty cheap in the Philippines!
The KP is something like P60,000 and the k-1 is something like P95,000. So, I'll be short by P25,000. If I win, I'll sell it buy my first KP and keep the extra cash for a while. Then, I'll rob a bank and get the second KP.

I hope my plan works.

If I won, I would pair it up on a slide rail beside my current K-1, beg/borrow/or steal a second FA 31mm f1.8, splice a wired remote for two outputs, and then attempt to take simultaneous side-by-side shots that would stitch together into a seamless, high-definition panorama.

Just 'cause I've been curious as to whether it would work for circumstances like waves crashing at a beach, where a regular pano setup wouldn't be feasible.

Then I'd promise myself I'd sell the second body ( if the panoramas didn't work ), but it would probably sit on the shelf alongside all the other camera gear I've been promising myself to sell . . . .

I can't see anything that could possibly go wrong there, either

Keep and use it for sure.
I might keep my K-3 as a lighter solution for mountaineering though.
But maybe I should stop thinking in what ifs and win it first

I have a big family European holiday planned for Autumn. It'll be an important part of my kit. So this was meant to be. Can't see how I could possibly not win!
