Congrats on your win. Looking forward to seeing some pics of that otherworldly scenery of New Zealand that finds it's way into movies.

Thank you very much everyone. It's not quite sunk in yet.
Now I'll have to learn how to shoot video to do that perfunctory "unboxing" thing. You know I only shoot stills right?

hehe... you can use your phone for an unboxing video, you know? ;-) Just make sure you use a tripod, those one-handed unboxing videos are unbelievably annoying! :-P

Congrats on the prize!

PS- edit: some changes in adjectives in the first part of the post... :-)

Thank you. I figured, I'd use the K5 on tripod. Will need to do a practice unboxing something else! (I wonder if the cat will play along?)

I know it wasn’t intended as such, but that’s a nice reward for your efforts to keep things civilised and on-track here. Congratulations, Mark.

Mark,

If you had to use your phone to video the unboxing, how would you get the dial and cord out of the way?

Congratulations. Big step up from a K-5.

Cheers,
RONC
