Or maybe not so much confused, as milking it for the quota.
Hmmm, I wonder what you mean by that?

Funny, I remember it as "close" only counts in horse shoes, hand grenades, and armpits.
I heard that "close" is only important in horse shoes, hand grenades, and dancing.

Well, in the November contest there were 1397 entries after 20 days, for an average of 69.8 per day.
By the end of the November contest, there were 2136 entries, for an average of 71.2 per day.

This month we have 4-1/2 hours to go, but the last time I checked there were 1626 entries {I have already made mine for today, so I have nothing to gain from making this one}, for an average of 81.3 per day.
The contest this month has already attracted lots of posts - congratulations to us all.

And with that, the raffle is now closed to new entries. The winners will be announced tomorrow!

Thank you, Adam, for both raffles, November and December. They have fueled an incentive for more involvement in the forum by current members and seems to have brought in several new members also. Of course the possibility of winning a nice new camera has helped a lot, too.

since 2017

the forums has given away numerous cameras both full frame sensor and ASP-C

thanks Adam

[ I was the lucky winner of a K P last year which has been " lent " to my son and his wife ]

I think the simple raffles run this year were the best compared to the earliest ones

My first one, quite fair, simple to do . It generates a ton of views and comments. Has to help the numbers!

Obligatory post count post. A KP would be a most welcome addition/upgrade to my K3.

Adam had announced the 'raffle' for Dec 7 - Dec 26 using GMT.
He actually closed the raffle thread around 1:30 am on Dec 27 GMT according to #201 on this thread.
