Pentax wireless remote battery change

Is there any way, we can change the battery inside the wireless flash remote, that $10 thing? I didn't used it much, but recently, I observed that it is not triggering correctly unless it was very close to the camera. Any suggestions?

Pentax Remote F battery change is an easy job...3 small x-point (phillips) screws on the back...unless you're a total klutz

Battery is CR1620.

I suggest wearing some kind of light gloves to avoid getting skin oils on the battery.
