K-5 lens change button pops out.off

When changing a lens and your finger slips off the changing button, it pops off. Noted it now pop off when seating a KA lens.
I don't dare touch it up with glue and set it back in, though it appears this could be done. Anyone know if is rational. Is a tech fix expensive?

It's a known problem that requires parts and disassembly for proper repair. People have also fixed it with Lego parts. I do not recommend just gluing it back as it may get stuck. Easiest fix is duck tape over it to keep it in place.

Can you post a photo of the problem? My button is a little wobbly, but I don't know if that is an issue.

Use a clip , a pen or something with point to change lenses

The small screw drivers you get with in kits for glasses and other small fasteners will have one that is a perfect match. Use it to press the center of where the button should be. It's a nuisance but the alternative is to pay for a fairly significant repair. I eventually paid for the repair which cost about the same as the body is now worth. Sadly I got one more season of use after the body repair before I dropped it accidentally down a deep canyon where it lies undisturbed. I wish I saved my money and didn't repair the button, but of course who could've known.
