I visited the site to see and it appears to be secure.

I also checked and the form, while not on a secure page, is a downloadable PDF that needs to be downloaded, completed, and attached to an e-mail which one must send using ones own e-mail. It is not a web form to be completed on their server/web page and appears to not be saved on their server.

Looks like they either fixed it, or it was just a huge misunderstanding.

It's not so in Firefox. There is a problem with the certificate, but it's interesting that Chrome and Microsoft Edge both don't think so (I tried them also).

I wonder why the discrepancy.

You could look at the date on the certificate to see if it's only been issued in the last day or so, or if it's not from one of the main SSL providers.

The cert was issued in October 2016, but it appears that Firefox does not recognize the issuing authority.

I'm guessing they don't have the intermediate certificate installed properly (?)

I've been advised that they are looking at it, but it doesn't look like it's been fixed yet.

Kristie from Precision emailed me to say they are treating my 40mm repair as a warranty repair. If it is Precision that Ricoh requires us to use then Ricoh should require them to secure their system.

I realize that I'm replying to a 2 month+ old thread, but Chrome was showing their order form as secure and using https, but just to be on the safer side, I used a Bank of America Shopsafe number when I had to fill out the form to get my K3 sent in for repair yesterday.

Just hope they have decent turnaround time, my only experience has been with Tamron, and they were good IMO.
