SDM contacts easily switchable?

I just noticed that one of the SDM contacts on my DA*300 is missing. I have a DA* 50-135 that still have both the contacts intact that I could use if they are easy to switch over to the 300mm.

Photo of the contacts from the DA* 5-135. The left side is the one missing from my DA*300.

Found this SDM repair guide online and it looks pretty easy. Has anyone tried switching contacts before?

Edit: The DA* 300mm auto focusses fine when used alone on my K3 but, when I pair it with my DA 1.4x AW TC it rarely focusses in on what I want it to focus on. I just hear a "sshhht" every time I depress the AF button.

i have till date not stacked them next to each other, I have a 16-50, running on screw drive, willing to be a paid donor

Thanks dcshooter. Tweezers weren't strong enough to grip the assembly so I used a micro screwdriver to pry them off and switch them over with no problems. The DA* 300 focusses a lot better now with the TC and the DA* 50-135 works fine with the 300s assembly that has one missing contact.

So difficult to get this item as sparepart! Pentax refuse to sell me the SDM Contacts, I need to send it in for repair for a fix price :-(
