Where to buy a screw for Asahi Spotmatic?

So the tiny little screw that screws into my shutter speed dial on my Spotmatic fell out and I have to use a toothpick tip to be able to change shutter speeds...

Anyone know what size screw I am searching for or a schematic that shows screw sizes on the Spotmatic? What am I going to do, my toothpick is getting worn out.

I would recommend that you find a donor camera use a screw from that.

There is an exploded parts diagram at PENTAX MANUALS in the service manuals section. If you can make sense out of that, small screws can be found at www.usmicroscrew.com. Or maybe Eric Hendrickson can help. If all else fails, a box of toothpicks is not very expensive (lol).

I removed the screw from a Spotmatic I have to see if I had a similar one, but no luck. It is very tiny. There is a thread with photos of a disassembly of a Spotmatic here. Perhaps the poster, Mystery Onion, has an idea, or a spare. I took a ZX-7 apart a while back and kept some of the parts, mostly screws and the lens mount, I was hoping I had a match..

The fastener on the shutter speed dial is not a standard screw. It has a large thin flat head with two holes for a spanner tool. It looks like the same part used on the K1000. Find a parts camera for cheap that still has the fastener and cannibalize. You can then donate the body to Eric or DCShooter for parts.

Unless you mean the screws on the side. The service manual parts list should list the size of the screw. Google search "micro screws" and see which vendor has one. You could always cut one down if you can't find one short enough. Thread pitch is standard with small screws like these.
