FA*85 1.4 Mystery Part

I was replacing the spur gear on my FA*85 1.4 and a metal part fell out. Anyone know what it does and where it goes? Thanks

It could have come from behind the aperture lever shield. There's sometimes a part similar to this that acts as a spacer or something. Take the three screws out and you'll be able to see where it goes. (It goes with the screw nearest to the aperture lever).

Awesome, I think that makes sense. I think it may be held in by a tiny screw near the aperture lever. When reassembling, that tiny screw had nothing to thread in to. I think this may go on the back side.
