Pentax Super Program Repairs Needed

I own a Pentax Super Program that is in need of repair but can't seem to find a repair person. It is an electrical issue where the shutter and f-stop is not displayed in the viewfinder or top LCD screen. The issue leaves the camera to operate at a constant a 1/125 shutter speed. Can you recommend a good repair person/shop who can resolve my issue?

Eric doesn't officially do Super Programs (Pentaxs.com).

It's the middle of November (2022) and I just had my Super Program repaired by Eric Hendrickson of Pentaxs.com

Eric did a wonderful job but he advised me that Super Program parts are becoming difficult to find though he was able to replace my broken ASA/ISO lock-ring in addition to cleaning, lubing, and replacing the light seals/mirror buffer.

If you have a Super Program that needs work contact him and ask.

Not sure if it still applies but the first 1,2 exposures after you have opened it for fil loading it only shows 125 and it is seemingly not working. After 2 clicks it the meter will work properly, the defect described is also mentioned in the manual of the camera.

Are you sure of your information????
My “Super Program” exposes the first few clicks at 1/2000.
This is NOT a ‘defect’ - it allows the camera to quickly get to the first ‘usable’ ‘shots’ if it has a motor drive,
because film is exposed to light for the first few ‘shots’.

I haven’t seen my owner’s manual for many many years, but I remember that much.

Quite correct. When I used to shoot with my old MX I would always trip the shutter 3 times before pointing it at anything in anger.

I think we al state the same, the first few clicks do not allow other time + aperture to be set. It is 1000 and not 125.
