Hi folks! I just added a K-mount to my collection after selling an ME Super. New to me KM, in really good overall shape with new light seals. The issue is, the light meter works and seems to respond appropriately to varying light sources (as confirmed with an external meter), it's just shifted several stops off. For example, I've got ISO 200 film in it, and the workaround to get an accurate reading right now is to set the camera on ISO 1600. It appears to read consistently and accurately with this workaround.
This is obviously fine up to a certain maximum film ISO, and I can obviously continue to use it just as it is. It's just bothering me somewhat that it's "off" and I'd love to get it working properly (and be able to use ISO 800+ film down the line).
I understand to calibrate a meter you need (if i remember correctly) a bench power source and a calibrated light meter, as well as some experience. I don't have any of that. Do I have any options here? Is it economical to send it off to someone for an adjustment? It doesn't seem to have a failed galvanometer so I doubt it needs parts, just an adjustment.
