Exquisite -- and perfect for the recent NY weather which has been oscillating between winter and spring! This delicate, yet strong filigree bench protected by a canopy of decay and growth reminds us of its survival through centuries of death and life. An emotional image which inspires thoughts of gothic novels, especially with the shadow of lightening-shaped branches. The details, coolness and range of tones, as well as the composition draw me in to keep looking, thinking, and feeling...NOMINATED!
