An old hickory in fall colors.

Exquisite -- a solar burst of energy as the leaves shimmer and reflect the sunlight, and so many tonalities within the shadows. Also a feeling of flame with the blue sky dancing in between the leaves. This is a light that can only be experienced with a photograph (the eye can't see all the nuances and colors, especially at that height). Delicious -- NOMINATED!
