[ATTACH]384498[/ATTACH In the center of the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, there is a hill on top of which there is a large stone fort surrounded by a deep dry moat. Inside the ramparts of Halifax Citadel, there is a stone-lined pit for stairs leading to rooms inside the inner stone wall of the dry moat. In each room, there is a 12-pound cannon aimed to fire through a small portal into the dry moat if invaders happen to get over the outer wall of the moat.
