Wild stallion in the west desert of Utah, USA. My son and I hoped to see some wild horses on this trip to the west deserts of Utah, USA. We were just about to give up and head home when a large group of horses came over the hill, heading straight at us. As the group paused a safe distance from where we were, this stallion broke from the group and charged towards us. At the last moment, he stopped and spun quickly. I happened to capture the split second that his mane flew to the side and dust arose from his hoofs. It wasn't until I looked at the image at home that I realized I was probably in danger. It was a spooky moment...they are big animals...but I'm glad I captured it.
