I just received a couple of older lenses from a fellow Pentaxian on the forum, one a 135MM Takumar Bayonet and the other bundled with a film camera, an SMC Pentax-M 50mm f2.0 lens, and used this 50mm lens for this photo, coupled with Pentax K-S2 camera. This was one of the first images shot with this combination, and probably won't win any competitions, but I am liking the feel of the images given to me by my older lenses. This photo is presented as shot - straight from the jpg from the camera, no filters or editing. I have other flower photos I managed to capture in the past month that are perhaps better, but again... I want to explore my slightly-growing collection of vintage lenses. As an aside, my favorite lens so far is a 1971-era M42 50mm f1.4 lens.

As for the subject, these small yellow flowers are very similar to dandelions, and the stalk poking up is milkweed. We do not mind dandelions and the like so much, and actually encourage the milkweed to spread as a place for monarchs to lay their eggs (although the milkweed in this grassy location is an escapee from a nearby flowerbed, and this particular plant will likely be mowed over the next time the mower comes through).
