Utah Lake Sunset

Utah Lake, in the state of Utah, is a freshwater lake just up the Jordan River from the Great Salt Lake, in Utah. It is rather unusual to see this kind of ice along the shore. There had been heavy winds and thawing temps days prior. Hoping for a sunset, I got there early and composed this scene. I couldn't believe my luck when the sky started to light up. It was an incredible evening.
