This was the last portrait I took of my grandmother. She was hunging my little brother at his school graduation party. He was the joy of her life, her little special grandson with Down Syndrome, that she helped raised and take care of for almost 30 years. This was taken on Dec 2019, before the pandemic hit us hard. Even in isolation, she ended up catching the virus somehow, and unfortunately we lost her. She has really been missed, but we learned a lot from her and she made a beautiful and big family of 6 daughters and sons and a lot of grandchildren.
