I remember the original listing of the contest reading much like what eddiewillersx mentioned, and I spent some time looking through my catalog for a qualifying photo . . . and then got distracted.
But even with the less specific directive quoted by Bosse, most of these photos don't convey that much about the person portrayed.
Which isn't to say these photos aren't good portraits: if the subject of the photo is pleased with the results, then the portrait is a success, right? But that doesn't mean the photo fulfills the original directive that I'm sure at least two of us read.
So I suppose folks should vote for whatever portrait they like the best according to whatever parameters they want to follow. Which is what happens every month, from what I can tell. (My guess is that eddiewillersx and I will wind up voting for the same photo. . . .)
