Exquisite! The composition of the 3 women creates a lotus blossom about to open, reflecting the performance about to begin after the "final adjustments." The moment itself becomes a ritual and dance. There is such a feeling of intimacy, laughter and conversation -- a private world within a public space. The photograph is also a wonderful study in texture and color. The architectural patterns and ornamentation become extensions of the dazzling intricate shapes and textiles, both still and about to move. Earthy tones of stone, bricks and skin set off the bright saturated colors of the fabrics, and the grass becomes another design feature echoing the green in the costumes. The spectacular details and emotion are so intoxicating and mesmerizing -- this is an image that can be looked at for hours as a meditation. Bravo! Nominated...

Such a good feeling to this pic!

The triangular composition brings our focus to their focus; the kneeling woman AND that brings us into the energy of the image.

I would suggest it could benefit from toning down the background and increasing the contrast on the women. That could increase the clarity and impact.
