First attempt at using a longer lens with astrotracer. I think I only managed to get up to 8s, which is not too bad considering the 200mm focal length, but I think I can get to longer values with better calibration.
Still, enjoyed looking at the stars, and enjoyed the image I got in the end) 9 frames, stacked in Sequator. K-1 & Tamron 70-200

Which part of the sky is that? With good calibration you should be able to achieve 30 seconds with the astrotracer at 200mm on a K1 in FF mode. I can get 20 seconds with my K50 and sometimes 30 if I'm lucky.

Honestly, I don't know I just pointed at the brightest stars I saw. I'll try to do more research next time. Yeah, I felt like I should be able to get more out of astrotracer, at least looking at other member's photos.

Don't you have a sky map app? Makes identification easy.

I did notice that. Sorta hard to ignore Honey, and something tells me she is not used to being ignored.

Beautiful young lady beautifully captured. Again with that little bit of class coming through, imho there is a fine line in this type of work and if you can maintain that bit of class its elevates the image.
Love your work...keep it coming.
