Historically yes. This year has been mighty strange. The worst so far was back in October. Since then only a few minor storms have come through. Been kinda tough on the winter wheat with no **** cover. There's still February, March, and April for winter storms so we'll see what happens.

Here are some images from my travels in the last year in Arizona, New Mexico & Utah.

1) From an October trip to AZ, UT & NM. AZ location was Coyote Buttes South in Paria Canyon/Vermillion Cliffs Nat'l Mon. In UT, Twisted Forest in Dixie Nat'l Forest. In NM, Bisti Wilderness.

Observing a herd of 30 Big Horn Sheep graze and move among the rock formations for 45 minutes or so was the highlight of not only this trip but ALL of my annual trips to the deserts and mountains of the Southwest.
